How many carbs can I eat on a Keto Diet?

You’ll want to eat  70 to 75 percent fat, 20 to 25 percent protein on a keto diet. That leaves just 5 to 10 percent carbohydrates! The exact grams will be different for each person but try to stay around 20 – 50g per day.

 

Can I eat fruit on a low carb or keto diet?

In general fruits are high in carbs. There are a few exceptions. Blackberries, raspberries, and strawberries, which provide 5-6 grams of carb per 3½ oz serving are ok. Read our low carb fruits and veggies blog to learn more

Can you lose weight on a low carb or keto diet?

The keto or low carb diet can for sure supr weight loss. It’s no magic pill but it’s a great option if you’ve got some weight to lose. You can also expect better energy and mental clarity!

Can I snack on a keto or low carb diet?

Heck yes you can! Just make sure you have the right snacks. Here is a list of our favorite keto snacks for beginners.

What’s the difference between low-carb and keto diets?

They are both low carb but Keto is a very strict low-carb diet! Keto requires high fat and moderating protein.  

A very low-carb diet will likely put you into ketosis but if you add higher fats… you’ll basically be on ‘keto’

What foods can I eat on a keto diet?

Stay aways from high carb foods like bread, pasta and sugar. You’ll want higher fat foods like avocados, meat, eggs or cheese. See our keto snack list, low carb recipes or fast food guides to get a better sense!
